When I met Mel

"Mel and I met when I was 30, and became close friends. We have been friends ever since then.

I was asked if I wanted to go on a Welmede holiday to America and that’s when it all started.

Then when we came back we went our own ways. I got a text from Mel one day later asking me out as a boyfriend. My heart was thumping like a drum at last the girl of my dreams has asked me out. We started meeting every Saturday for starters. I felt happy at last.

One month down the line I asked Mel would she like to get engaged to me we sat down together and worked out a date we both agreed February 14th Valentines Day. I got down on one knee and popped the question to Mel and she said yes. I had a tear in my eye.

After two months Mel asked me would I like to live with her, I said yes, and it was a dream come true for both of us" .

"Since October 4th 2010 we have both moved in together and we are both very happy with our new lives together.We spent our first Christmas together in our new home and were visited by family and friends, we have also made new friends and are still working hard 3 days a week and keeping ourselves very busy. We are also working out our wedding and have decided that we will get married in 2013, which gives us plenty of time to save for the wedding we want. We will keep you informed as we go along"
