Welmede CQC

Welmede is registered with the Care Quality Commission (C.Q.C.), which is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They monitor, inspect and regulate our services to make sure that we meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. Details about the commission and what they do can be found on their website at www.cqc.org.uk.

The CQC framework for regulation and inspection derives from the Care Act 2014, full details of which can be found at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2014/23/contents/enacted.

After inspecting a care home or care service, C.Q.C. publish their findings, including performance ratings, to help people choose their preferred care provider. Further down this page you will find a list of all Welmede’s registered locations (where we provide a regulated activity) along with a ‘widget’ provided by CQC which contains information on the current inspection status of each location (or service).
