Abbotts Barton, Chertsey, Surrey


  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abbott’s Barton is a detached house, situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac at the back of Abbey Green in Chertsey. There is one vacancy at the present time.

The home is suitable for those who are more physically able due to the fact that five out of the six bedrooms are upstairs. It caters for both men and women, although the current residents are all men, whose ages range between 37 and 67 years.

 The house is situated within five minutes’ walk or a short car journey away from Chertsey town centre, which has a range of shops, a supermarket, a church and several pubs/restaurants.  About a five minute car journey away is the River Thames, St. Ann’s Hill and several good restaurants and pubs.

 


Church Farm Bungalow, Ottershaw, Surrey

Church Farm Bungalow is a lively and spacious purpose built home. All rooms are situated on the ground floor so ideally suited to those who have mobility needs.
It is an all female establishment and caters for age 50 and over. Currently there are eleven women residents whose age range is from 58 to 82 years and who have both a physical and a learning disability. The home is situated in a quiet area of Chertsey, and is in walking distance of Ottershaw, and a short drive away from Staines and Woking.


Palmer Crescent, Ottershaw

 

Palmer Crescent is a cul-de-sac set on the edge of a small residential housing estate in Ottershaw.  The accommodation is in a 6 bedded purpose built bungalow housing residents with a range of learning disabilities, associated mental health needs and physical sensory disabilities. The age range of the current residents are between 48 to 57 years.
It is situated next to three other bungalows, which also house people with learning disabilities. The village centre is a few minutes walk away where there are a variety of shops, including restaurants, a hair salon, a dental surgery, a chemist and a post office.


Amis Avenue, New Haw, Addlestone, Surrey

 

Amis Avenue is a large detached bungalow that caters for six adults with a learning disability. Most of the current resident group have Downs Syndrome, some with early onset dementia, and referrals are particularly invited in respect of individuals with this rapidly emerging area of support need.

 The home has recently been refurbished, redecorated and adapted and well equipped for users with changing mobility and sensory needs. It has level access for wheelchair use and is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with no traffic hazards within the immediate vicinity of the home, despite it being close to shops and other community facilities in New Haw.



The Compasses, Chertsey, Surrey

The Compasses is a 17th Century house situated in the heart of Chertsey town centre. The house has three stories and retains some of the original features including oak beams. Due to the age of the building and its three stories The Compasses is not suitable accommodation for people who use wheelchairs.

The location allows residents easy access to the shops, library, restaurants, hairdressers and other amenities.

The Compasses caters for 11 people who have mild to moderate learning disability. Some residents also have mental health needs. Ages of the current residents living at The Compasses range from their 40s to their 70s

 


Moor House, Woking, Surrey

 


 

 

 

 

 

Moor House caters for people with learning disabilities who are over 65 years of age and who may also have physical disability of mobility problems. 

The house has room for nine residents and although the house caters for both men and women, all of the current seven residents are women. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the others are on the first floor. The two vacancies are on the first floor, and the home has a lift to help those who have problems with using the stairs. 

Moor House is very close to Woking Town Centre with its variety of shops, restaurants, hair salons, dental surgery, chemist and post office.

 


York Road, Weybridge, Surrey

 

York Road is a large detached house situated about half a mile from Weybridge town centre. It is a six-bedded home for men and women with moderate to severe learning disabilities. The ages of the current resident are from 56 to 71 years old.

The vacancy is located in one of the upstairs bedrooms. 


 Pinewood, Ottershaw

Pinewood is a purpose built bungalow in a quiet residential area of Ottershaw village. It is home to five residents, both male and female, between 73 and 84 years of age although the home is registered to anyone over the age of 65 who has a learning disability. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac just outside the centre of Ottershaw village, where there are pubs, shops, a post office and local facilities.


Apers Avenue,Woking, Surrey


  

 

 

 

 

 

Apers Avenue is a residential care home for Older People with Learning Disabilities and Sensory Impairments and is currently home to two elderly people aged over 70. The home can provide accommodation for three residents, meaning there is currently one vacancy.

Apers Avenue is a detached bungalow situated in the quiet residential area of Westfield, Woking. Community amenities, shops and public transport are all conveniently located nearby. Woking town centre is a five minutes away by car.


Dehnlea Rose, Virginia Water

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dehnlea Rose is a newly purpose built bungalow situated in the leafy suburbs of Virginia Water.

It has six bedrooms, three of which are accessible by wheelchair, for 6 older people with moderate learning, and some may also have physical, disabilities.

The house offers a service to both males and females and the current ages are 59 to 85 years old and there are currently five residents, leaving one vacancy.

The village centre is a short car ride away, which has a few shops where essentials can be purchased.

The home strives to create a warm and homely atmosphere for the residents who live there and their visitors.
